Student Audience Matinees

Give your class the gift of theater and join us at a Student Audience Matinee. CMT offers Special weekday morning performances for all 10 seasonal productions. Student and community groups throughout the Bay Area will be treated to a full length production including a Q & A session during intermission and a post-show meet and greet with the cast. Teachers receive a study guide to help prepare them and their students for each experience. 

Thanks to generous support by Applied Materials and the Shortino Foundation, student audience matinee tickets cost a minimal $15 each and fully subsidized tickets are available for Title 1 schools and community groups dedicated to underserved youth of San Jose.

*Tickets will be sat on a first come basis. We will contact you if we are able to fulfill your request.  Please pay attention to the number of tickets available, please include chaperones in that number.

All Student Audience Matinees take place at 10am at the Montgomery Theater in Downtown San Jose.

Suggested Run Times include; Q&A with Cast and Meet and Greet after the show

Title 1 Ticket Request Form

If your school is Title 1, you are eligible for free tickets thanks to generous local funders. Title 1 Ticket Requests will open August 19th at 4pm. At that time, a “Title 1 Ticket Request” button will appear on this page and you will be able to submit a request for your school.

Tickets will be allocated on first come, first served basis. Please be sure you request tickets only for performances that work for your school schedule.
