Where will Recital Classes be held?
Recital Classes will be held at CMT. At this time, we are hopeful that we will be able to hold this program in our brand new space located at 1545 Parkmoor Ave. In the event that construction is not yet completed on our new space, Recital Classes will be held at our previous residence located right across the street at 1401 Parkmoor Ave.
What is the ratio of staff to students?
Each group of 14 students will have a minimum of two staff members with them at all times. In addition to implementing lesson plans, staff members will ensure students are closely following all safety measures while onsite.
What precautions will CMT put in place to protect against COVID-19?
We will be implementing the same rigorous safety measures we found such success with during our in-person 2020 programming. Safety procedures will continue to be adjusted as new State and County Guidelines become available to protect students and families on an ongoing basis. All families must sign off on the Health and Safety waiver upon registration, which includes a downloadable detailed breakdown of CMT’s Health and Safety Guidelines.
CMT COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
What should students bring?
Students are asked to wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothing that they can easily move around in and a face covering. Water bottles are encouraged.
Will there be a final performance?
Tiny Tots and Junior Talents classes will culminate in a final recital for limited invited guests. Appropriate PPE and social distance will be required of all attendees.
Are masks required?
Yes. Masks are required for all students and staff members while on site for all in-person programs.
Will CMT offer any virtual classes?
At this time we plan to offer classes in person and do not have any virtual class offerings.
Can parents observe or see the space where classes are held? Can we take a trial class?
For the health and safety of all involved, only registered students and staff members may be on site while programs are running. Therefore, trial classes are not offered at this time and parents are not invited to observe.
How will drop off and pick up work?
All parents are asked to use our drive through for drop off and pick up exclusively. This will cut down on any unnecessary contact and helps to ensure the safety of our students, teachers and parents. Students will be held in outdoor pods after drop off and enter the building one group at a time. Students will be brought back to their outdoor pods for pick up as well.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation deadlines are set one week prior to the start of each program. No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadlines. Cancellation requests made before the deadlines are subject to a $25 processing fee for Tiny Tots and Junior Talents. To request a cancellation or exchange—send an email to registration@cmtsj.org. Make sure to include; 1. Order Number. 2. The participant’s name. 3. Your reason for canceling/exchanging.
What if the County or State mandates new closures?
Should the program be suspended due to new County mandates regarding COVID-19, you will be contacted via email immediately. CMT plans to offer programs virtually via Zoom in the event of any new closures.
