Hilary Stevens
Hilary is thrilled to be directing again this year at CMT. She had the pleasure of directing Freaky Friday and Sound of Music with CMT and loves teaching classes with all these amazingly talented young artists. A graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory/University, she holds a B.F.A. in Theatre for Youth with a minor in Voice. Hilary started her directing career at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, Florida and Indian River Community College in Ft. Pierce, Florida. She has helped theatres all over the country with building their theatre curriculum and education programs. Hilary moved to California to tour with CTC and has since worked with various theatres in the Bay Area as an actress, director, and teaching artist. When not found in the theatre she’s mom to two amazing kiddos Brooks & Hadley.
Rachel Sue
Rachel is thrilled to be choreographing her first show at CMT. Being a theatre kid at heart, she is excited to work with young, talented artists, and hopes to inspire them as her educators inspired her. Although she has a passionate love for dance, Rachel’s talents expand across a wide range of artistic endeavors. After being engulfed in a life of theatre from ages 12-18 (and homeschooled through it all, thanks Mom & Dad), she began a career of onscreen acting with NYLO Model & Talent in the Bay Area while attending Ohlone College and later Cal State East Bay, where received her BA in Strategic Comms, but not before she took a year hiatus to study fashion product design at Accademia Del Lusso in Milan.
Some of her favorite roles so far have been, Sara Crewe in A Little Princess, Young Cosette in Les Miserables, Meg Giry in The Phantom of the Opera, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Dorothy in Wizard of Oz, Ensemble in Shrek the Musical, Lucy in 13 the Musical, and Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Although she has not been in a musical production since 2019, she has kept up her performance chops in her band Outta Pocket at events all around the Bay Area. In addition to live music, she has also spent time in recording studios as a featured artist and in original musical albums, as well as starring in and producing music videos.
She is eager to work with this amazing team and cast and hopes the experience will provide them all with memories full of fun and learning.
Nicole Roca
Nicole is a familiar face to CMT on and off stage. She started performing with CMT at the age of 12 and has loved coming back as vocal director over the past several seasons. Vocal directing credits include Snoopy and Frozen Jr, The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo Jr., and most recently Honk all with CMT and Starmites with PPP. She has her BA in Theater Arts from Cal-State Fullerton and has been seen on stage and behind the scenes singing, dancing, and teaching at multiple theater companies and schools throughout Northern and Southern California as well as at theme parks and on the high seas as a production vocalist with Carnival Cruise Lines. Nicole teaches at her private voice studio, Limelight Performing Arts and looks forward to continuing to share her passion for performing arts and teaching with children of all ages.
She can be heard lending her singing and speaking voice to toys, commercials, and radio ads as a voice over artist; working with companies such as LeapFrog, Hallmark, Google, and Rover.com. When she’s not teaching or performing herself, Nicole can be found trying out new bay area cuisine with her husband or snuggling her double doodle puppy Sullivan.. Enjoy the show
