Katherine Bonn
Katherine Bonn is over the moon to be directing the heartwarming farmyard fun that is Honk! She started at CMT nearly five years ago onstage in Mamma Mia, and has since loved diving into the community of artists that ensure eleven amazing productions take over the Montgomery Stage each year.
Her journey with this show started over fourteen years ago, when she squawked her way on stage at age twelve as Maureen the Moorhen. Honk was her first ever full length musical performance, and then years later was her first experience on an artistic team, when she assistant vocal directed a production immediately after graduating highschool. To say she is excited to be returning to this poultry laden piece is an understatement.
Katherine has been teaching, choreographing, and directing since she was old enough for people to listen to her. Most recently she choreographed Alice by Heart for Watsonville High School, and had the delight of being on the Artistic Team for Schoolhouse Rock Live at CMT. Recent performance credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Clopin), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Bright Star (Alice Murphy), Grease (Marty), Kinky Boots (Lauren), and Beauty and the Beast (Babette).
