The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for our youngest performers! Frozen Jr. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.
A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

LYSANDER ABADIA is thrilled to return to his theatrical roots during this exciting season at CMTSJ. He brings his extensive experience in the industry to serve the company which started it all. He has also served in a teaching capacity at these companies, as well as Rainbow Company Youth Theatre, the Clinical Simulation Center of Las Vegas, and Super Summer Theatre in Las Vegas. Lysander has directed and choreographed shows at the San Francisco and New York Fringe Festivals, for PBS Kids, and for Henderson Shakespeare in the Park. He has also tread the boards as Pepper in Mamma Mia!, alongside Tommy Tune in EFX at the MGM Grand, and appeared on various television series. Lysander is grateful for this opportunity that has been a dream come true and is happy to be home.
Sarah Almazol Shepherd is a Bay Area native new to CMTSJ. A graduate of the SCU Theatre and Dance program, Sarah’s passion for transforming children’s lives through theatre has never been greater. Sarah is thrilled to be part of Frozen Jr.!
Nicole grew up performing with CMT starting from the age of 13 and is so excited and honored to take a seat on the other side of the table as part of the creative team that gets to bring Frozen Jr. to the Montgomery stage. She has her BA in Theater Arts from Cal-State Fullerton and has been seen singing, dancing, and teaching on stage and behind the scenes at multiple theater companies and schools throughout Northern and Southern California as well as on the high seas as a production vocalist with Carnival Cruise Lines. Some of her favorite musical memories are Marvelous Wonderettes (Cindy Lou), Grease (Marty), and her last mainstage show at CMT, Sideshow (Violet Hilton).
When she’s not teaching or performing herself, Nicole can be heard lending her singing and speaking voice to toys, commercials, and radio ads as a voice over artist; working with companies such as LeapFrog, Hallmark, Google, and Rover.com, traveling with her fiance Wilson, or snuggling with her double doodle puppy Sullivan.
