Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical comedy featuring the beloved characters and hit songs from the films!

It is present-day, and in the kingdom of Auradon, all of Disney’s beloved heroes and royalty are living happily ever after, safe from the terrifying villains and troublesome sidekicks they have banished to the magic-free Isle of the Lost. That is until Ben, the benevolent teenage son of Belle and King Adam (The Beast), offers a chance of redemption for the troublemaking offspring of the evilest villains. Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos – the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar – are welcomed to Auradon Prep to attend school with the children of their parents’ sworn enemies. Now entering a completely foreign world and way of life, the four Villain Kids have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

Pamela Serrano

Bio

t has been a full circle for this mother of three, who believes that every circumstance prepares an individual for a greater journey in life. Born and raised in Baguio City, Philippines, Pamela’s mother who was a dedicated educator, allocated her humble budget to giving Pamela lifetime skills. Pamela and her mother took many jeepney rides to ballet and jazz classes at the Velarde School of Dance, voice and piano trainings with some of Philippine’s finest teachers. At 10, she was a full scholar in ballet. When the family migrated to the United States, new opportunities emerged. In 1995, Pamela wrote and released a pop R&B music album with an independent label. Her single, No Reason, received airplay in local jazz stations and she found herself opening for Grammy awardees such as Eric Benet, Joe Sample, Isaac Hayes and Tower of Power. She supported herself through college by singing professionally around the bay area with a Top 40’s band. After obtaining her college degree in Business Management from San Jose State University, she took a quick pause from music to practice as a Certified Public Accountant at several big-5 Accounting firms. It was her first child who re-introduced her to her first love, music. It didn’t take too long to find herself back into the swing of things. She became the children’s music and drama director at GSCC church. She furthered her voice training with Lorna Emata-Goodwin and Seth Riggs, founder of SLS technique. Armed with renewed passion, she opened up PnC, a small music school in Milpitas, CA, which quickly became home to many young students and teachers. She branched out to teaching Voice, Music Fundamentals and Music Theater Basics at St. John the Baptist and St. Victor. Her credits as a vocal director and choreographer for community theater include Legally Blonde, Beauty and the Beast, Charlie Brown, High School Musical and Junie B Jones. She joined the CMTSJ Marquee in their production of Billy Elliot, giving her the opportunity to work with Kevin Hauge and Claire Alexander. She believes in continued learning and dedicates time to further her performing arts studies by attending classes in New York City. Pamela’s diverse background and influences in music is as eclectic as what you will find in The Descendants!
